The 2022 Tapia Conference Student Volunteer Program provides an excellent opportunity for students to attend the conference, connect with other attendees, and hear from exciting speakers, all while significantly contributing to the conference.
Student Volunteers are essential to the conference as they:
Help to ensure conference sessions run smoothly
Aid attendees with finding the correct rooms for their sessions
Ensure attendees have the best conference experience possible
Student Volunteers agree to the following:
Attend one mandatory online training session
before
the conference
Provide a
minimum
of 8 volunteer service hours throughout the conference
Be flexible when indicating your availability; this flexibility is critical to the success of the conference
Expenses
covered
by the Student Volunteer Scholarship:
Free conference registration
Meals, as provided by the conference
Expenses
not covered
by the Student Volunteer Scholarships:
We are looking for student volunteers local to the Washington, DC area - therefore, no travel or hotel expenses will be covered
Priority consideration is given to local students, especially students attending two-year institutions.
Applications for student volunteers will be accepted until
August 12
. You will be notified on or before
August 19
if you are selected to be a student volunteer.
