The next Civic Innovators Fellowship application will open in late July 2025. Fill out this form to express interest and we will contact you when the application opens. Completing the Civic Innovators Fellowship is required before applying to our in-person Civic Innovation Academies or our Civic Innovation Lab.

The Civic Innovators Fellowship is a free, 8 week virtual fellowship for High School students located anywhere in the world. During the fellowship, you'll explore what we call "civic innovation" — social impact at the intersection of civics, technology, and culture. Each week, you'll explore things like:

How we can rethink urban design with car free, walkable cities.
How we can utilize harm reduction and human-centered design in pursuit of a more equitable criminal justice system.
The ways AI can do GOOD for our world.

After completing the Civic Innovators Fellowship, fellows join the Civics Unplugged community where they gain access to the network and funding they need to change the world. Completion of the Civic Innovators Fellowship also offers exclusive access to Civics Unplugged's in-person Civic Innovation Academies and Civic Innovation Lab.
