Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for full-time employment. The selected candidate will be responsible for prospecting and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and creating persuasive proposals that generate revenue. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of winning proposals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, source and analyze RFPs to ensure alignment with SDC’s services and goals
  • Write clear, compelling, and tailored proposals that effectively communicate SDC’s value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal team members to gather relevant information and insights
  • Edit and proofread proposals for clarity, grammar, and formatting
  • Submit proposals on time and ensure all submission requirements are met
  • Track and report on proposal progress and outcomes
  • Adjust and refine strategies based on feedback and proposal performance


Requirements:

  • We are seeking a self-starter - who will initiate, own and produce high quality work 
  • Multi-Sector Proposal Experience (Government and Public Sector, Education and Ed Tech, Energy and Sustainability, Nonprofit, Healthcare, Technology, etc.)
  • Proven experience in proposal writing with a track record of winning RFPs
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with consulting services
  • Comfortable with remote work


Performance Expectations:
The goal for this position is to see tangible proposal wins and revenue generation. This position is a part-time contract role.


Compensation:
This is a temporary position at $70 hourly, commensurate with experience. Bonus for every proposal won. Full-time transition will be considered based on performance and proposal success.
