Online Program Scholarship Form


Before selecting and registering for your program, please review the scholarship criteria and answer a few demographic questions. This information is for internal purposes only and will be used to assist us in better understanding the experiences and needs of our community. 

Kripalu believes that yoga should be accessible to all who wish to learn and practice. We seek to build a diverse, intergenerational community of lifelong learners working together to ignite personal and societal transformation. This work begins with a deep commitment to increasing access to our full suite of programs and centering justice and equity in all we do.

To qualify for a full scholarship you must meet one of the following criteria:

 

Criteria

Identify as a member of a community that has been historically marginalized in wellness spaces. Some examples include:

  • member of the Global Majority, a collective term for people of African, Asian, Latin American, and Arab descent who together comprise the vast majority (around 80%) of people in the world

  • member of the LGBTQIA+ Community

  • A person with a physical or mental disability or who is differently abled.


Someone with financial needs
 based on household income.

  • 1 person household with a maximum income of $30,000

  • 2 person household with a maximum income of $40,000

  • 3 person household with a maximum income of $50,000

  • 4 person household with a maximum income of $60,000

  • 5 person household with a maximum income of $70,000


Someone who is of service to others
including Sacred Activists/Artists and Frontline Providers. Sacred Activists/Artists are agents of institutional and systemic change who take wise action in an effort to create peace and sustainability in the world. (Examples include: educators, healthcare professionals and human service providers, including Non-Profit employees).


Someone who identifies as a member of a community that has not been adequately supported
. Ie. Indigenous, Veteran.

The Details

  • To ensure that scholarship funds reach as many individuals as possible, we ask that you only request one on campus and one online scholarship per year.

  • We request that participants complete the full program or view recordings if unable to attend all live events.

  • We ask participants to complete a program evaluation survey to share their feedback and reflections on the impact of the program.
