The Canadian Women's Network is hosting another Founder & Funder Event: BIPOC Edition on September 29th, 2022, 1:00-2:30 PM PST for women founders from racially diverse backgrounds.

We've heard from our community how hard it is to raise investment without warm connections. That is why we are bringing together Funders & Canadian Female Founders to casually meet one another, form connections, and develop long-term relationships.

Format
We invite up to 15 startups & 5-6 investors to participate virtually. We take away the pressure of pitching by providing an opportunity for questions, casual conversation, and networking.

- Prepare 1 question to ask the investors in the room
Main Room Q&A
Startup and investor profiles shared ahead of time
Startups and investors are encouraged to follow up if there is a potential investment interest

Application Requirements

Startups will be reviewed on a rolling first-come-first-serve basis.

You are / will be seeking venture funding in the next 9 months
You have at least one BIPOC or racially diverse female founder or female on the executive leadership team
Your company is headquartered in Canada
Your company has developed an innovative solution
You are a Founding or Growth Plan CWN member
