Grants of up to $5000 per farmer can be used towards "ready-ness" for a carbon project.
You are not obliged to do a carbon project, just by taking this grant. However, it is provided to those with genuine interest in establishing a plantings project or soil carbon project.Funding from the grant can cover In order to qualify and be considered for the CER Readiness grant - please fill in the details below.
NOTE: The process is funded by the NSW Primary Industries Productivity and Abatement Program and so is focused on the carbon sequestration and abatement outcomes derived from plantings or soil carbon projects. The co-benefits described in the broader STAR Project vision are a bonus.NOTE: Registration of a CER Project is like getting a DA. It gives you capacity to do a development, but doesn't oblige you to get a BA and do a development.
I hereby declare my intention to register a project with the CER in due course and intend to use the CER Readiness Grant funding I receive from Regen Farmers Mutual in order to prepare a CER compliant project. I understand there is, however, no obligation to undertake a CER compliant project.
