Kitten Kit Request Form
Atlanta Humane Society's Kitten Kit Program (KKP) aims to alleviate the stress of "kitten season" by:
Helping kitten finders like you raise and rehome found kittens and litters and
Stopping the cycle of cat overpopulation through provision of spay/neuter surgeries and other basic medical care.
This program is geared towards individuals and citizens that find kittens. Animals being fostered by or surrendered to other animal welfare agencies (rescues, shelters, etc.) do not qualify for the Kitten Kit Program.
Our Kitten Kit is a bundle of care supplies including basic care, enrichment, and comfort items needed to help you raise found kittens or litters, including "bottle babies" or kittens that require bottle feeding.
Depending on the age of your kitten/s, your kitten kit will include:
A
small crate
for safe animal transportation
Age-appropriate food or formula,
feeding accessories, and probiotic supplements
A
litterbox, bag of litter, and scoop
A
scale
to track healthy weight gain
A
blanket
or heating pad to keep kittens warm
Treats & toys
to encourage play and socialization
Miscellaneous
grooming supplies
to keep kittens clean and flea-free
Information on how to receive their
free spay/neuter, round of vaccines, and microchip
These Kits are a supplemental resource to kickstart your adventure to help those cute little felines grow into incredible cats! By offering this support, we want to help members of the community like you learn more about animal welfare and feel confident in addressing their communities' animal needs.
If you'd prefer to surrender found cats or kittens to the Atlanta Humane Society, please go directly to our website:
