Elevate Credit Union Scholarship Application

Elevate Credit Union is proud to support our incredible community by offering the Elevate Scholarship Award, which is dedicated to fostering and promoting continuing education opportunities for our members.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

Each year, Elevate Credit Union proudly awards three high school seniors scholarships of $1,000 each to support recipients in pursuing their higher education goals.

SELECTION PROCESS

To keep our process simple and fair, scholarship recipients will be selected through a random lottery from among all eligible applicants. To qualify, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria outlined in this application. This approach ensures an equal opportunity for all qualified applicants.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To qualify for the Elevate Credit Union Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

The applicant or one of their parents must be an Elevate Credit Union member in good standing for at least six months prior to the application deadline.
The applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the current school year.
The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
The applicant must plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, vocational, or trade school beginning in the fall of this year.
A completed application must be submitted, including:
- A short essay on the assigned topic, written entirely by the applicant without the use of AI or writing tools
- A copy of the applicant’s most recent transcript

DEADLINE

Applications are due April 10th.

SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT

Each award will be paid directly to the recipient after Elevate Credit Union verifies registration for the next academic year.

ESSAY INSTRUCTIONS

As part of your application, please submit a short essay (500-750 words) on the following topic:

“In today’s world, what do students need to learn to become financially responsible adults?”

Your essay helps us get to know you better, and is a required part of your application. However, under our current selection process, essays are not scored or ranked. All applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and submit a completed essay will be entered into the scholarship lottery.
