Sacred Artist Residency Scholarship Application

Calling artist of all stripes whose work is meant to be an offering to something much larger than us. Visual artists, writers, musicians, dancers, poets, filmmakers, actors, storytellers, designers, directors, producers and creators whose gifts don't fit into categories.

To qualify for a full scholarship you must meet one of the following criteria:

Identify as a member of a community that has been historically marginalized in wellness spaces. Some examples include:

    • A member of the Global Majority, a collective term for people of African, Asian, Latin American, and Arab descent who together comprise the vast majority (around 80%) of people in the world
    • A member of the LGBTQIA+ Community
    • A person with a disability or who is differently abled.

Someone with financial needs
based on household income.

    • 1 person household with a maximum income of $30,000
    • 2 person household with a maximum income of $40,000
    • 3 person household with a maximum income of $50,000
    • 4 person household with a maximum income of $60,000
    • 5 person household with a maximum income of $70,000

Someone who is of service to others including Sacred Activists/Artists and Frontline Providers. Sacred Activists/Artists are agents of institutional and systemic change who take wise action in an effort to create peace and sustainability in the world. 


Someone who identifies as a member of a community that has not been adequately supported. I.e.. Indigenous, Veteran.

The Details
  • We ask participants to complete a program evaluation survey to share their feedback and reflections on the impact of the program.
  • Housing type is not guaranteed. ADA requests can be made at the time of registration.
  • To ensure that scholarship funds reach as many individuals as possible, we ask that you only request one on campus and one online scholarship per year. This series counts as one on campus stay.
