Organisation Details

This the detail we use to draft a project brief for your students to work on. Please provide as much detail as you can to help contextualise your organisation for your team.

Scope of  Work and Organisational Context

Specifically, the project will address:

  • Summarise key information on your organisation, target policy area, and policy in question
  • Analyse the current global or local policy landscape relevant to the brief
  • Identify the top 5 comparable policies of interest and, using secondary research,1 provide relevant insights into each policy’s attributes (e.g. policy creation and implementation, policy communication, stakeholder response and compliance, and policy outcomes)
  • Based on the research and evaluation of comparable policies, identify potential opportunities and limitations for your client to consider for the policy relevant to this brief
If you need to adjust this project scope, please include that in the Other details for Project Field.

Secondary research or desk research is a research method that involves using already existing data. Existing data is summarized and collated to increase the overall effectiveness of research. Secondary research includes research material published in research reports and similar documents. These documents can be made available by public libraries, websites, data obtained from already filled in surveys etc. Some government and non-government agencies also store data, that can be used for research purposes and can be retrieved from them.
