HACE Regional Auxiliary Boards

The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) is a national non-profit dedicated to the employment, development, and advancement of current and aspiring Latino/a/x/e professionals.  Since 1982, HACE has served as a resource for the Latino/a/x/e community in the workplace and a source of expertise and insight for corporations seeking to attract, develop, and retain multicultural talent.

As we grow and gain broader reach, HACE is seeking strong leaders from ALL markets to help build on this growth in key markets where HACE has a strong presence. The HACE Regional Auxiliary Boards will be made up of members who represent HACE's values and mission to empower the entire Latino/a/x/e community and diverse talent pipelines. All HACE network members and leadership program alumni are encouraged to apply.

Board Expectations:

  • Localized Focus
    • Address unique needs of local community through engagement with local organizations. Establish partnerships to provide value to local Latinx/e community.
  • Strategic Planning and Mobilization
    • Develop strategic plans that contribute to HACE mission while acting as advocates for key initiatives. Support and participate in fundraising efforts for HACE-led events, locally and nationally, including for annual Summit & Awards Celebration.
  • Community Building and Communication
    • Foster connections and strengthen relationships within local Latinx/e community for communication of opportunities, resources, collaboration, and more.
  • Event and Program Alignment
    • Host regional events to build engagement and community empowerment, reflecting HACE’s national priorities and the unique needs of the region.


Membership Expectations: 

  • Serve a minimum of a 2yr term (can be renewed)
  • Attend Regular Monthly Meetings
  • Collaborate on Regional Plans
  • Serve as Regional Ambassador for HACE
  • Report Progress

Traits of Ideal Members:

  • Strong Community Ties 
    • Commitment to and knowledge of local community.
  • Advocacy and Communication Skills
    • Ability to communicate HACE's mission and initiatives while advocating for local needs. 
  • Familiarity with HACE's Work
    • An understanding of and connection to HACE's mission and impact.
  • Commitment to Engagement
    • Willingness to actively contribute to initiatives and community.
