Scholarship Application

Investments & Wealth Foundation scholarships provide partial funding to be applied toward the completion of an Institute certification with scholarship amounts ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Scholarships will not cover the full cost of the certification program. Depending on the amount awarded, scholarships can be used for exam and enrollment fees and/or a portion of tuition and certification fees*. Additional costs may apply such as travel, test prep, retake fees, etc.

*Funds applied toward tuition will vary based on the certification program and education provider selected by the scholarship recipient.

Scholarship applications are evaluated by a committee and scholarship amounts are awarded based on eligibility, the quality of the application, demonstrated need, and available funds.

All applicants must have at least three years of experience in financial services, meet the qualification requirements of the certification program for which they are applying, demonstrate professional, volunteer, or civic/community leadership experience, and be committed to fully engaging in all scholarship benefits. Disclaimers:
Qualified individuals who can demonstrate financial need and are from underrepresented populations related to gender, race, ethnicity, age, veteran, or disability status may receive scholarship assistance underwriting the costs of CIMA®, CPWA®, or RMA® certification. Scholarships may aid in offsetting the cost of the certification program but will not offset the full cost of the program.

Application for a scholarship does not guarantee that a scholarship award will be granted or that the applicant will be accepted into the certification program.

For CIMA® candidates: scholarship recipients must apply online to their school of choice first, then will be reimbursed by Investments & Wealth Foundation upon class registration confirmation from the school.

Scholarship funds are not eligible to be used for private classes or offerings, transfer/cancellation fees, retake fees, or initial certification fees.

Scholarships are limited in availability and will be awarded as funding allows. All scholarship decisions made by Investments & Wealth Foundation are final. Award amounts vary.
