The Student Leadership and Advisory Council is established for the purpose of building a community of outstanding student leaders dedicated to ending college hunger on their campuses and beyond. They will serve as a collective voice for the movement to end college student hunger. Swipe Out Hunger is committed to consistent growth and change to match the ever-changing needs of our network, and SLAAC will provide student-informed recommendations for Swipe’s programmatic offerings and resources. SLAAC will build opportunities for mutual exchange of ideas and open dialogue about the national problem of college student hunger.

Outside of monthly meetings, there will be individual and group assignments to be completed such as writing a personal experience blog, meeting with administrators at your school, participating in an advocacy event, etc. See the informational document (linked here for convenience) for the full menu of options to complete this requirement.
