AMADA TPL-FX Series Link Motion Gap Frame Presses

The TPL-FX series
presses built with the exceptional design qualities and characteristics that have come define our machines. Through the utilization of link motion technology these machines provide enhanced capabilities that standard mechanical presses cannot and the flexibility to effectively address a more diverse range of materials and parts.

The use of a link mechanism creates stroke cycle characteristics of fast approach, slow working, and fast return. With this feature there are noted improvements in part quality, tool life, productivity, and accuracy. All of this is achieved without reducing the speed of rotation. During the stroke cycle a link motion press slows down as it begins to form the material has more time to flow achieving optimal forming. This aspect is particularly important when drawing certain material with high spring back. Link motion reduces levels of snap through shock which lessens material stress and thinning which translates to higher part quality.

The TPL-FX Series
is offered in a single point gap frame design within capacities to 200 tons and a range of stroke lengths and is an excellent choice for progressive or drawing applications.

Standard Features Include:

  • Variable speed drive
  • Cast steel slide with provisions for optional knockout assemblies.
  • A traditional AMADA wet transmission produces high torque and energy while ensuring positive braking power transfer.
  • Fabricated, thermally stress relieved steel frames designed for high rigidity, reduced deflection and superior strength.
  • Hydraulic overload protection.
  • A TFT color touch screen which provides better visibility to the operator and enhanced usability.
  • The Eco-counter function automatically puts the press motor into idle mode when the production counter reaches its preset limit. This feature reduces the power draw and saves money.
  • The Eco-idling function automatically puts the press in standby mode when a preset time is reached. When the press reaches that time the motor automatically enters the idle mode which consumes less power and save money.

Monitoring the state of your press is imperative and each of our machines have features that keep the user informed of the press operating conditions and maintenance information through the touch screen PC interface. The capability to connect to your Ethernet is provided standard.

Consult your sales agent for a complete list of standard and optional equipment.
