The University of Bolton offers scholarships to talented basketball players who aspire to achieve their sporting ambitions while studying. If you compete in basketball at a local, regional or international level, you may be eligible for a scholarship. Basketball players at the University of Bolton are part of an athlete-centred model that focuses on advancing your sporting and professional career. You will work with renowned basketball coaches, sports scientists, strength and conditioning coaches, sports psychologists, sports rehabilitation specialists and academic mentors.

Scholarships are paid in (deducted from fee payment instalments), subject to a termly progress review, as set out in the athlete agreement.

Prospective students are invited to submit an application prior to accepting a place at the University of Bolton. You will receive written confirmation of whether your application has been successful should you choose to study at the University of Bolton. Scholarships are only valid once you enroll onto your course and sign the sport scholarship athlete agreement. Please note individuals applying for scholarships in team sports will be subject to a trial and squad selection process and scholarship tiers may be adjusted accordingly.
