XR Innovation Challenges

This is an application to participate as an entrepreneur, technologist, or developer in the DC Innovation Challenges in collaboration with local partners. We will follow up with regional specific details including application status and schedule. Applications close on Wednesday, October 25.

Goal: Join us in creating an innovative XR prototype that addresses a real small business challenge. This prototype can be a visualization incorporating images, videos, or other mediums to demonstrate how your solution effectively solves the identified business issue. Further details about the problem statement will be shared upon completion of your sign-up.

 

Competitors Role:

  • Develop an innovative solution that solves the business challenge
  • Utilize the provided template to create a compelling deck that effectively communicates your idea. 
  • Present a 5-minute pitch highlighting the key features and benefits of your solution at Demo Day on November 1st at 6 PM at MLK Jr. Memorial Library. 

Challenge Schedule: October 25 - November 1, 2023.  
Below are the meetings that will occur during the Challenge.  You will develop your solution throughout the week on your own time.

  • Optional Virtual Mentor/Coaching Office Hours: Fri, Oct 27 1 - 2 PM ET
  • *Live In-Person Demo Day: Wed, November 1, 2023: 6 - 7:30 PM ET
