2023 Central Indiana Nonprofit Salary and Benefits Survey 

In the summer of 2023 Charitable Advisors will publish its seventh Central Indiana Nonprofit Salary report.  As we are all keenly aware, in this competitive labor market, area nonprofits need this data now more than ever to develop recruiting and retention strategies and to guide and assist board members to assemble appropriate staff leadership compensation packages.  

The survey will open January 30. The person to complete the survey is someone who has access to payroll information -- generally the HR director or the Chief Operations Officer in larger organizations and the executive director in smaller organizations. Please check to see if someone at your organization has already indicated they are the point person  to complete the survey.

The report will include salary information for the 16 most popular nonprofit positions and typical benefits for the executive director. Last year we collected data from 238 Central Indiana organizations, making Charitable Advisors' report one of the largest in the country (typical is 100-150).

To receive the report for free ($150 value), please include your organization name along with the name and email of the contact person to complete the survey.  

The survey is only available to organizations in Marion County and the surrounding counties.
