The Student Ambassador Program at The Social Institute provides a unique opportunity for students in grades 5 through 12. This program equips your child with the tools and opportunities to become leaders who positively influence fellow students, both online and offline. By participating, students will join a vibrant community of student leaders who are dedicated to making healthy, high-character choices and inspiring others to do the same.

Leadership Development
One of the core benefits of The Social Institute’s Student Ambassador Program is its focus on developing key leadership skills. Your child will learn to:

- Be a Positive Influence on Others: They will take on roles that require them to guide their peers, advocate for positive changes, and be examples of good character in both their local and online communities.
- Represent Their School: Students will be their school’s representatives and share ideas that help their school community use #WinAtSocial to empower students, educators, and families.
- Collaborate Effectively: Teamwork is a major part of this program, and your child will work alongside other students to create projects and lead initiatives. This helps them understand diverse perspectives and improve interpersonal skills.
- Communicate Clearly: Whether it's through creating content or presenting ideas, your child will enhance their communication skills, which are vital for both academic and personal success.
- Problem-Solve: Through various challenges and activities, they will learn to think critically and solve problems creatively, preparing them for any obstacles they might face in the future.

Additional Program Benefits
Here are more ways your child will benefit from joining the Student Ambassadors Program:

- Earn Community Service Hours: Students can earn hours required for school, which can enhance college applications.
- Networking Opportunities: They will connect with student leaders across the country and learn from industry leaders through guest lectures, expanding their understanding of different fields.
- Meet Positive Role Models: From The Social Institutes Founder & CEO Laura Tierney to other students, your child will be able to interact with positive role models who want to make a positive impact in the world.
- Portfolio Development for Job and College Applications: Projects that students create, ranging from short videos to student-to-student tips and strategies, can be added to their personal portfolio, which is useful for future school applications and job opportunities.
- Diverse Learning Environment: They will engage with students from many different backgrounds and life experiences, gaining insights and learning to navigate diverse social situations.
- Fun & Educational Activities: The program includes friendly competitions with prizes and activities that align with both recreational and career interests, ensuring that learning is always fun.

Being a Student Ambassador is more than just an extracurricular activity; it’s a step toward helping students build important life skills as they grow up, preparing them for high school, college, careers, and beyond. Your child is invited to join us as we explore and navigate student experiences, equip more students to make high-character choices in their daily lives, and inspire others to fuel their health, happiness, and future success.
