Become a RAMP (Real Art Make Print) Studio Holder at Ocean Studios for individual access to high-quality studio space in a vibrant creative community. Get inspired, develop skills, use specialist facilities and share knowledge in an engaging studio culture. 

We're seeking studio holders who actively contribute to a thriving, diverse, and inclusive creative community. Create opportunities, collaborate, and make a difference, especially for emerging artists. 

Available Studio Plans
Standard Studio (15m2) - £250 + VAT pcm Collaborative Subsidised Rate| £430 + VAT pcm Market Value Rate

Studio Plans include:  
- First-floor spaces with natural light at Plymouth's historic Royal William Yard. 
- 24/7 access, utilities, Wi-Fi, and personal support. 
- Communal facilities, maintenance, waste management. 
- Routes to market, exhibition space, and networking. 
- Café access with 10% discount, bike storage, communal shower. 

Collaborative Subsidised Rate vs. Market Value Rate: 
Collaborative Rate - £250 + VAT *: A subsidised rate, where studio holder must provide an exchange in our programme to the value of £130, to match the difference between Collaborative and Market Value rate per month.

Market Value Rate - £430 + VAT *: Full-price studio use. 

*Rates vary based on studio size.

Studio Criteria:

- Based in or moving to Plymouth.
- An established or emerging enterprise, including individuals, collectives, organisations and creative businesses.
- Interested in using specialist facilities like printmaking, ceramics, and 3D space.
- To start, become a Real Ideas 'Join Us' Member at realideas.org/membership/
- We value sustainability and seek like-minded individuals. Active participation in our community is crucial, including workshops and idea-sharing.
- Studio holders contribute to our program with workshops, events, retail, exhibitions.
- Regular use of studio is essential; we encourage full-time usage, not just storage.
